In this excerpt about Anne, it really shows her more soft, whole hearted, caring side. To me this just doesn’t sound like Anne. When I think of Anne, I see a teenage girl playing pranks on her sister and talking back to her mom. Obviously, this is the problem. People don’t think this soft side sounds like her and that is what her point she is trying to get across is. What about Peter??? She seems to really care about him. I can’t tell yet though if it is more the pet fish kind of way or liking kind of way. I guess we will have to find out later. Also, the Van Daan’s. These two personalities just don’t seem to connect at all. People always say opposites attract, but I may have to disagree in this case. They always butt heads and each have to get the last word in. To sum it up, life in hiding for Anne seems to really make Anne think about how good each day really is. I know if I was hiding for my life, I would show my scaredness a little more, but I think it is because she has faith that in the end everything will work out, for better or worse.

I am sure everyone has those special places that they go with their family that are just “Family Traditions”. Well, for my family it is Hilton Head Island. We have had a house in Sea Pines for about 30 years, since my dad was a little boy. So, pretty much that is where I have grown up vacationing. We go about almost every other month, even if it is just for a weekend. Over the years, we have met tons of families from other places. One our best family friend’s, from Germantown, Tennessee, we met about 8 years ago. Every summer we go the same time as them and always have a ton of fun! We go pretty much every where on bikes, which is my favorite part. If I want to go get an icecream or snowcone, I can just ride my bike up to the BeachClub.Out of all of the things Hilton Head has to offer, my favorite is the Salty Dog Cafe. I’m sure most of you have seen the t-shirts around and some of you have probably been there. To tell you the truth, it is the most fun place on Earth to me!! Every summer when we are at Hilton Head, we go there multiple times for dinner, lunch, or just ice cream. They have a sea food cookout, live music, a bar on the marina, tons of stores, and even a clown!!(which I loved when I was little) The atmosphere is just so beachy and fun that you can’t help but love it. After dinner we participate in the trivia. I’m not too good at it, but my dad and brother always know the answers. To top the night off, I always take a walk through the store, even though I already have about 5 different shirts. To see the tourists and their whole families buying matching Salty Dog shirts is really funny! Every summer when it is time to leave, I get really sad even though I will be back in about a month. All of the fun times at Hilton Head and the Salty Dog Cafe, I will never forget. For the rest of my life, I will keep going to Hilton Head and having soo much fun!

In a crowd, I am probably not the one that you can tell right off the bat is different or the one that sticks out. But inside, I have many unique characteristics about me.
When eating peanut m&m’s I kind of do it in a weird way. Some people like the flavor of peanuts and chocolate together but I don’t. I love chocolate and peanuts but only when they are separate. So, when eating peanut m&m’s I bite off half of the m&m and eat it then i take out the peanut and save it. That’s what I look forward to at the end, eating the peanuts.
Also, I am that one person in the crowd that you can see sort of towering over people. It’s not as big of a factor as it used to be, but I am still considered very tall. The worst was when I was in 4th grade and 5ft tall when everyone else was about 4.5 ft tall. It use to bother me, but I am now becoming use to it.
Antoher thing that is unique about me is that I hate writing in pencil. This really has always been the case with me. So, this year when I learned I had to do all my math and science work in pencil, I was pretty bummed. I just really don’t like the way it shows up and how someone can just erase what I have writen. I definately like writing in pencil better than I used to, but if I had the choice I would ALWAYS choose to write in pen.
